I've only done a few just to see what type of packaging and material they send with the product.

Also drove to an office of a "work at home" product that I sensed was bullshit and found an abandoned PO Box in a corner office. Good thing I never got involved with that company.

We ordered e-cigarettes to see what the buzz was about before we built our campaign. Three weeks later, we ordered refills.
 
I once thought about downloading Zwinkys, so I drove to the address on the whois for their main URL and it was an abandoned basement at a transvestite strip club. Good thing I did my DD before acquiring their product.
 
I ordered HostGator hosting through my own CJ link a couple of years ago.

I never got any credit for it. Needless to say I've never promoted them after that; although the hosting has been very reliable.

I have also ordered hostgator accounts through my own CJ link in the past, but I have always been paid.
 
CB has a team of consumer advocates that orders each product before it launches in the network and does spot checks after launch to make sure whatever the adv is promising the consumer gets. We'll also send out products to pubs who want to have them for review.
