English 16yo makes £1m via mac offer and ad network 'Branchr'



i am beginning to hate this kid, there's no god, this kid's made 1 m at 16 and i make 1 cent daily at 26!
 
That's great!

I'm pretty sure there's a few guys here who hit a million at 16, def some who hit it at 17.

But that's not to take away from his success... that's amazing.

so this kid approached 17k websites/iphone app makers to use branchr as publishers and put text/image ads on them ? And then you take advertisers and they bid on certain sites/apps and they take the middle comission like every other ppc/cpm networks out there. you could also setup a platform like that but what im thinkin is how he got this figurered out at this age while most of the people took years to learn lol... may be he got certain contacts in the industry or lol he got the ebook guides lulz ... what you think the way he approached people to use their platform makes him successful or did he got the word spread about branchr or what ? looks interesting

did he first got advertisers in queue or publishers lolll when he first launched it

Agreed, I have a friend that only made $900 last month as a full-time salesperson for loan modifications.

I told her she needs to get a new job, she was like "I like the business and they're doing my mortgage too.".

Hopefully people catch on to their mistakes before it ruins them.

It took me years to admit my faults are faults and work on changing them.


BTW, this kid just convinced me to cold call bizes this weekend.
 
^^^ holy shit! are you guys all serious? i was just kidding man, stories like that kid's give me more motivation to work hard, i earn a couple of tens of dollars daily man (me loves adsense).

i used his (branchr) ads and most i got were spyware installing ads, those screensaver stuff, his system is not good enough to be called contextual. you need to enter some keywords in your dashboard to get somewhat relevant ads, still you get shitty ads as far as the ads you get and the content you have on site is concerned.

still that kid is great, btw, i was not bitching, not that kind of a guy.
