Encrypt vs NonEncrypt

Quick question:

When buying PHP addons/plugins/scripts/etc. how much does the fact that its encrypted with something like ioncube factor in your decission to purchase?

Just wondering if it even matters or is it more of a question of will it get the job done or if its highly recommended.

Depends if you are satisfied right out of the box. I like to hack so it's usually a bother for me but I find ways around it. Most people don't give a shit.

If its zend you can just decrypt the motherfucker...a few programs around that you can do it with. Ioncube im not so sure about.
