Embedding WP Category Posts..

How can you embed posts, as they display on a category page, on a different, standalone page in wordpress?

I've tried searching for many different ways to do it, but often it just shows up as a text call or posits the entire posts from that category.

All I'm looking to do is embed the posts, the way they're listed on a category page, on a separate page.

Not exactly...this displays the actual posts from a certain category onto that page. I'm looking to display a list of the posts (as they would appear on a category page) onto this page. Not just a list appearing in text, but a list as it would appear on a category page (with the title, image, and short snippet of the article).
