I just got into collecting large lists and mailing them...

I'm looking at sending around 500k-1million emails per month to start off with, and then will probably scaling to 5-10 million per month in the second month.

I collect leads directly to my mysql database.

I was looking at Pricing - YMLP
to start off with, but it's probably gonna become pretty useless within the 1st month.

I was looking at StrongMail: Email Marketing and Social Media Solutions | StrongMail which seems to be highly scalable...

(Obviously, this is a stand-alone solution, which I'd have to host on my own server.)

I was wondering whether any of you guys can recommend any other solutions... ;)

First look at the majority of the domains you're mailing, that'll help you find the proper mta to license..
A bit of short reviews based on my own meandering experience:
Supergenii is the best for nonGI (hotmail, yahoo, gmail, aol).
Robomail is great all around and excels on Yahoo
Ironclad is great for PureGI
DirectAgents is great for PureGI and cable domains.

*PureGI means random domains from websites and local isps. Cable domains are comcast, comspan, roadrunner etc.

Just to clarify for DeliGuy.. SuperG can crank GI as well. However SG uses GI filters to avoid SBLs and traps.
