Email Links inside web pages

What's the best way to stop your email address being spammed when you put the email on a site. I've been using javascript up til now was wondering if there were other options.

Check out that web page. Basically the script encodes the email address into html character codes (base on character set ISO-8859-1 English?). Most email screen scrapers are looking for a specific pattern (word@word.xxx) so when they come upon the encoded email address.. there will be no match.

benefit? doesn't require javascript..

If you use the javascript versions more than once on the same page will it work ok or do the variables conflict?

Doesn't matter now, I just tested it and it works just fine.

Use a form mailer, that way not even real people see the address they're emailing, until they get a reply.

It is designed to be used with one email address, and you can have it display youremail on the page, but it won't show in the html code (default) or you can have it display any text you want as the link. There is a version for including and there is a version to paste into the page it's self.
