Election coverage decreasing conversions/searches?

Is anybody else noticing a significant slowdown in traffic/conversions? I think its because people are so involved in the election results that they are caring less about anything else.
 


Hmm..must be an unlucky day for my keywords. I noticed a huge surge right before the election (my biggest day ever was 2 days ago). It slowed down yesterday and today.

Probably depends on the niche then.
