I recently sold a nintendo DS on ebay. 1 day after the item had been received I get a message saying that it is occasionaly faulty with not recognising games and making strange noises. Positive feedback had been left and the sale was over. In my description I stated that "No returns are offered. The description explains what is being sold here and that is what will be sent."

The DS unit has never had problems of this sort. Does anyone have any experience in something like this, what should I do, what do I HAVE TO do if it comes to it?

Advice Welcome,
Michael

If feedback was already left and you said no returns, then it is their tough luck. They are probably just trying to scam you into to

a) refunding, but letting them keep the "faulty" unit
b) getting you to send a brand new system

How did you ship it and pack it? Maybe it was damage while being shipped? If so tell them to take it up with whoever shipped it and leave it at that.

I wrapped it about 7 times with bubble wrap and cushioned it from the edge of the box with that air padding stuff, i really can't see it getting damaged there.
