So I have a pretty basic webpage that I've had decent success in the past couple years promoting it with youtube videos. It seemed pretty easy back then, just post a video and pump it full of views with tube increaser and watch the money roll in. Now those days are over and my affiliate ad revenue has slowed.

Anyone have any ideas of easy ways of promoting my website that isn't too time intensive?

Maybe that was before Google bought youtube?

Things have changed online, especially with Google.

Easy and quick? Buy a few high PR links.

If your looking for quick traffic, but not traffic to stay maybe try Trafficera, a Traffic Exchange site. Not a very good idea if your looking for traffic to STAY though, just a suggestion.

There are definitely a lot of ways, but you have to be willing to invest your time in them.

These come to mind:
article marketing (my favorite)
commenting on other blogss
participtaing in forums
PPC
social bookmarking
answering questions on Yahoo answers

I'm sure others could come up with a lot more.

Have you tried article marketing? Once your articles are submitted, they can bring you free traffic for a long long time. PPC can get very expensive but it is up to you.

Some people have been using the method called 'raping the twitter'. I haven't tried it myself but seems to be pretty popular.

Dude seriously? There is a whole section of the forum called "Traffic". I mean I know this is the noobies section but what it is not is the I'm a lazy fucker and won't look at the section titles so I'm going to ask very general stupid questions that don't benefit anyone.

Bottom line if another website has traffic going to it there is a way to get traffic from it either free or paid. But there's always a way for most.
