I wrote them in a text file and I stopped updating it since last 2-3 months...

So basically I have no idea how much ROI I am exactly getting

need some software to enter my monthly expenses and income sources so I can manage my inverstments

The unfortunate truth is that most accounting packages are easy to use. But in order to get everything in order it will take time discipline and effort. If you are talking a few hundred transactions a month your looking at least 3 hours/month in data entry, probably another hour or so in getting it in a format that can give you the information you are looking for. If you are using those books for taxes you'll also need depreciation software and to keep a log of r&d stuff.

Or you could open a checking account and just use it for business and email it to a CPA/bookkeeper every month and get them to do it for $2-400/month depending on a few factors.

If your accounts are not very complicated (seems like you are only entering them in text files) then go for these simpler ones -
GnuCash - Opensource and free tool. Download and enter the data.
Microsoft Excel or Open office or LibreOffice - Simplest. Just write some simple formula's and this could do for you and you can carry around ...
