E-Mails from Networks You Never Joined?

Dose anyone else get these things? Today I got the genetic introduction from my new affiliate manager from a place ive never even heard of. I think ive gotten a few of them this year from various networks.

Ive had a few am's leak my e-mail in mass cc/bcc mistakes I figure they are fishing from this list.

Perhaps it's from the parties at the conventions you've RSVP'd. I wouldn't doubt some of those lists are sold.

Yeah, I got that one this morning... funny thing is - I never actually opened with them (didn't like their demand for a passport scan - a duly incorporated entity doesn't need a passport)

+1 for the random emails, started getting a few from blue phoenix media a couple weeks ago after no introduction (that I can recall.) I guess there is always a chance that I met them on one of those ASE nights that I can vaguely remember.
