Hello,

I have just been realizing that I need to be more aggressive when I am doing PPC to get the most out of the traffic I pay for.

I was interested in an E-Mail Solution so I can start doing some e-mail marketing with the e-mails I collect. However, I am kind of lost to what company to chose from.

I was going to sign up for Awerber, but I see the user has to enter their e-mail, and then confirm via an e-mail... I would prefer to just getting the e-mail when they enter it once without confirmation.

I'm no expert on this, but I think if you're going to mail to them for other things like products or services that you don't own or sell yourself to them from the original source, then you will have to send a mailout asking them to opt-in to receive "offers from related advertising partners". You should just put that check box on the current form, and have it pre-checked, so that if they really do read to the bottom and don't want it, they'll uncheck it.

But I could be wrong.

I have used PHPList for small lists. It is free and very simple to use, but like Jon said, if mailing to previous customers, I am almost sure you will need to send out an opt-in email.

I use Constant Contact for my day job e-mail campaigns and it's a snap. Very easy to use.

I have learned this the hard way by mailing to previous leads that I have generated and I can tell you for a fact that you need an opt in email to mail for other products or you can be looked at as spamming.
