Hoping someone knows what's up.
I've been using Dreamweaver for years, and a few weeks ago, I ran into a little problem. For some reason, line breaks are not being preserved in the "code" view.
So let's say I want to have some space between the code for one div and the code for another div. After hard-coding everything I need, I hit "enter" a bunch of times to create some white space between the two chunks of code. The white space will stay there for a while, but once I've saved the file, closed it, and reopened it, it's gone. All my code is now just one big mishmash, so it's very hard to read/manipulate.
Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there just some really obvious option in Dreamweaver that I've accidentally disabled or something?
