get them to put you on a different server. most of my blogs and top domains are with them, and have problems every now and then, but nothing major. get several accounts, stick with the one that stays up best.

I'm still with Dreamhost, have been for a year and a half.

While they do have issues now and then and have had a MAJOR malfunction last year, I don't know how often other low cost hosts have problems, so I can't compare.

The thing I do know is they are cheap, honest and have a great & quick customer service.

I've been with them for a while and haven't had too many problems. I paid like $20 for a year of hosting, so I can't complain a whole lot.

Anyone know of a good, reliable web hoster that doesn't use Cpanel (the way they handle add-on domains is useless)? I'm also willing to spend more. Currently I'm with Dreamhost and Servage because those are the only decent hosters that don't use Cpanel.

I think Host Monster doesn't use cPanel. I'm pretty sure it's custom. You can check it out though...
