Domain names and trademarks etc?

Hello,

I'm not clear on what type of names a person can buy without risk, etc.

For example... are names like this infringing because they contain company names?

buycliniqueproducts.com
buyfordstock.com
cheapaeornchairs.com
cheappistonstickets.com
bargainsonynotebooks.com

... and so on... and so on...

there used to be a company called googlegear.com that sold computer hardware, but google lawyers convinced them to take it down and change their name. not sure if that ever made it through court, but if it did, google would have probably won.

There is a fine line between copyright infringement and free speech, for instance, you would be well within your rights to have a site named googlesucks .
