Domain name registrations to increase?

Supposedly the rates will be increasing on October 15th from verisign.com VeriSign Announces Increase in .Com/.Net Domain Name Fees from VeriSign, Inc.

Not sure when the registrars rates will change, but the current dollar off coupon for namecheap.com is: rocktober

This expires the day before the rate increase, October 14th, instead of the end of October.

GoDaddy already increased theirs.

Yes, the domain prices will go up. It will be about 0.50 more. Almost every domain registrar announced it and runs promotions in the begining of October.
