hey everyone, newb here

im searching for a good domain name for my niche and i can't decide whether to add an "S" at the end of the niche word. google keyword tool is saying that almost EVERYONE adds the "S" to their search, but i think it just sounds weird that way.

For example,
bikezone vs bikeszone

Bikes with the "S" dominates google search, but it just sounds silly... its really a clash of branding vs google's damn algorithm. i really like the domain without the "S".

would i be hurting myself too much by not adding the "S"?

thanks in advance

My mentor once told me "It's not what you are unsure of that will hurt you, it's what you absolutely know 100% to be true that is not."

You may think it sounds better but if the market tells you otherwise... I think you answered your own question.

You can also buy both and redirect one to the other. May be little benefit now if it's not a generic term but down the road if you have returning customers who can't spell...
