This is different than the previous domain question I posted today...

I have a particular niche which is broken down by city, because the product/service does not travel well. Would it be more wise to have a different domain for each town, or make one big site with subdomains for each town?

Not trying to be lazy (this time), just dont want to risk dupe content filter/doorway page ban for having a bajillion different domains with similar content. Would I have to have completely fresh content for each city? Would I have to mix up my template?

Personally, I always go for the big site. No worries there about dupe content and you can always have a central location for content updates, saving you from having to update more then one page.

I don’t know what your selling, but try a nice looking landing page, where you update with fresh content, then tell people where to go to find out about your product in their city.
