I dont post here much but I read a few times a week at least. I've been living in China for the past month and I think I'm ready to start working on some sort of arbitrage business (getting cheap chinese shit, shipping to US, and flipping) but I dont have a solid partner back in the states.

Anyone have any suggestions on how to "qualify" or at least find trustworthy business partners in it for the long run?

1) Why can't you ship directly to customers in the USA?

2) Or, if you've got access to cheap products, why not just sell them wholesale to US retailers/sellers and avoid a business partner in the US? I mean, if you're going to split profits with someone across the world, and deal with all the usual trouble and hassle you get through a partnership, why not just go ship your goods out and forget about them? That would allow you to work alone and get more volume done.

Go to Alibaba.com and see what's going on there.

Alibaba.com is a great resource for international trading regulations and procedures. Take a look at their resource section and you may find some of the answers to your questions.

Peace love and nudity.
