So i've got this campaign that I just created over 300 ads for with a facebook ads creator tool. (the one at ppc coach) Here is a question for ya. I've got a few of them at a solid .4% ctr yet still paying like .35 cents a click... Is it possible that other 290 ads for the same campaign are bidding for the same spot and thus driving up click costs?

is this a dumb question with an obvious answer?

I'll try pausing the other ads and just letting the best performers go. Will report back with result if anyone is interested

How much traffic have you pushed to the ads with 0.4% ctr? It takes a bit of volume and time for your bids to drop. Also how high are you bidding?

It's a bit hard to judge without knowing your demo and its size, but .35 cents seems very high for a ctr of 0.4%

post ur ads here first..lol jk

but seriously, it sounds like you should email facebook about this and let them know you're using the ads creator tool from ppc coach. they'd be more experienced in helping you out.

about 40 clicks. I paused the other ads and around 10:30 pm and than all day today my clicks have been around 10 cents. Not sure if this is related or not.

that's probably a good idea.

p.s the ads creator tool that ppc coach uses has a facebook api. They are aware of it and allow it

Try dropping the bid on every running ad and see what happens. As mentioned earlier, I'd highly doubt that you alone have enough volume to affect it.
