Does PPV work for retail?

So I've been doing some PPC with a jewelry retail site that I have. It's been doing OK but I wanna scale up and set up new sources of traffic.

I've been thinking about doing PPV but it seems to be mostly for lead generation for shit like insurance, loans, credit cards, dating, education etc.

Has any of you successfully sold physical products via PPV? Are there other avenues I should try before I try PPV?

The best way would be to just try a small test.

Are you currently in a PPV network?

Throw $100 bucks at it and see if you see any hope of results.

Yes, but PPV only really works for ecommerce on days that are prime numbers and start with 2.

Traditional ad channels are all you should need. Until you're spending 6-7 figs a month on Facebook... why bother with anything else?

Find a source, maximize it, deplete it (if possible) and move on.

Haven't really found success with Facebook tbh but almost certainly I'm doing it wrong. So you recommend trying to do Facebook before PPV?

If you haven't found success selling jewelry using news feed image ads then you are most certainly doing it wrong.
