I did a search on this before posting...didn't really find a solid answer.

If I launch a campaign and say a few days later pause it to go out of town...etc, will this affect my QS in any way?

I'm assuming that people pause their campaigns pretty frequently if they're going over their budget, going out of town...etc. What about pausing for longer periods of time if you just don't have the $$ to shell out?

Can anyone shed some light on this? Thanx.

QS i don't think so personally. But it will harm your campaign especially in a competitive niche. I've paused campaigns for various reasons and they never came back the same or took a very long time.

From my view it shouldn't affect your QS in any way.

However in competitive niche, as smaxor said, it will take time to climb to the top again. The thing is when you shut your ads off, your competitor`s ads taking your places and they start to receive better CTR just because you're out.

When you get back, they already have some kind of better CTR and it's harder to go through.

imho
