Yup, another noob thread. I'm going to document what I am doing so hopefully I can get some help along the way, and perhaps be the kick in the ass some other forum lurkers need to actually start posting and doing instead of just reading forum.
A little background, I have a few sites that make a tiny bit of money (like $100 - $200 a month) via organic traffic but obviously thats not shit so I'd like to give PPC affiliate marketing a crack.
So last night I reviewed the MaxBounty offers (got approved the night before) and picked the teeth whitening offer. The landing page looked good, the offer is good, and the pay out is good.
I happened to own a dental domain that I wasn't using, so I 301 redirected it to the teeth whitening landing page, set up a Facebook ad, and went to bed.
This morning I logged in to see the ad was denied - I wasn't overly surprised given the stuff I've read on here about FB and these type of offers. Plus, being a dumbass, I used the name of the product in the ad, which I assume is a dead give away.
I'm going to try an ad that doesn't use the product name, and if that doesn't work I guess I'll have to create a landing page myself. My problem with doing that even if I get 75% of the traffic that hits my landing page to click to the teeth whitening LP, I'm still losing 25% of my traffic right there.
