Do you guys create a dedicated flog/farticle for every ad group? Is there a need?

Yo guys,:smilie_weihn_winki:

I'm a 14 year old affiliate marketer. I'm a total newbie and have been in this game for about 3 months. So far, I'm making very little money :2twocents: :crying: which is around 1-2 grand/month promoting email/zip submits with PPC.

I'm very interested in promoting rebill offers because there's alot of money to be made. So far, I've tried promoting the Google biz opp offer but had little success. I made a slim $20 profit a day then the offer stopped converting suddenly. (I read somewhere here that biz opp is a very volatile niche so I figure I'm gonna need to ramp up my traffic volume to make up for the slim margin)

OKAAAY... I realize I've been blabbering so much and haven't even touched on my main point... LOL... ok, without further ado, here's my question: Is there a need to create dedicated flog/farticle for every ad group I've in a campaign?

So, for example, if one of my ad groups is "Paid Survey" which contains all the keywords containing "Paid Survey", I'd create a flog/farticle written around the "Paid Survey" theme. Is that right? And is it NECESSARY?

Spying on my competitor's campaigns, I notice most, if not all of them use the same landing page no matter what keywords I look up. So this causes me to DOUBT whether it is really necessary to create dedicated flog/farticle for every ad group.

What do you folks think?:1zhelp:

Cheeeeerz!

Jon

Copying and pasting flogs and farticles thinking you're gonna hit it big is not a smart way to break into the industry. Good luck.

For high volume keywords, I do sent traffic to optimized LP's. There's no need to rewrite your flog/farticle for every single adgroup. Just make sure the keyword density is good and use your targeted keywords in your title, headlines etc... Do the basic on-page seo stuff for your high volume keywords and you'll be fine.

1) Cut down on the use of smilies, seriously.

2) Why do you want to promote biz opps? Yes, there's a fuck load of money to be made. But the gravy train doesn't last long. Conversions drop rapidly.

Unless you want to be spending big than i'd stay away.

BTW how are you even paying for your traffic?

you don't need to, no. seriously though, don't bother with rebills on search traffic as you have no experience and you are surely going to get owned.. be creative, make your own campaigns. that's the best way for a newbie to have a shot at making it big... copying landers & traffic sources is just a waste of time (and no, it has nothing to do with competition or ethics) - get creative son

I'd say split test. You never know if a more targeted LP will work better until you split test it with your generic LP.

First off, what kinda network would accept a 14 year old publisher?

Second, how are you paying for PPC?

If you really are 14 then you should be chasing
girls, playing sports, and having fun. Enjoy your
youth kid cause it goes by a lot faster than you realize.

As for your question, don't bother optimizing LP's for keywords
for flogs and farticles that are promoting rebills on search cause
it doesn't make a lick of difference. Google doesn't like em, no
matter what you do, your campaign will get slapped.

Good luck.

I joined my first network when I was 12 and I was making money with Adsense sites before that. There is nothing wrong with being motivated at a young age. As long as you aren't an immature assclown why does it matter?

^ Agreed.

I started when I was 17 and worked on the weekdays and partied on weekends. Still do.

Sometimes mom and pop can't make the 40k tuition when going to a different country for college so you have to find other means. (Not McDonalds.)

Nothing wrong with hustling to live your dream. Just don't lose sight of what your dream is.

^

You guys are right, there is nothing wrong with being
ambitious and hustling to live your dream.

Just think the kid would have other priorities, like being a kid. But,
that's just me, doesn't make me right or wrong, just an opinion.
This is a tough biz to break into and the learning curve can be
pretty unforgiving, just think it might be a bit much for someone
so young to handle.

Just my $0.02

Best of luck kid, hope you make it.

@ WTFlux

Yeah you're 100% right...

A lot of kids would say learning the Piano is impossible; while others pick it up no problem.

If the kid has a real interest in internet marketing and a real drive and desire than he can try, for sure.

The reason I talked about 'the dream' is because my dream was to live in New York and party all the time and be the shit.

I could've, probably, done a few grand a day if I stuck my self in a room all day and did nothing but learn and work. But I knew only half my dream was about the money.

So I'm making a pretty great amount of money, although not millions, and living the life I always wanted. (Minus the celebs, private parties, endless bottles etc.)

Just remember why you're in the game in the first place.

I would have to agree that 14yrs should have better things to do then affiliate marketing. You have your whole life to make and worry about money but you are only 14 once. Go outside and play or something. Enjoy being young and care free.

Also with 2k a month with 0 living costs you could buy whatever you want. Hell you could pay cash for a new car when you hit 16.

Now that's been said I am still 90% sure this guy is a troll but meh.

Yeah, right

I'm disappointed in this thread. Have all of you social misfits gone soft on us? There's NFW this guy's 14 and everyone's letting him off the hook. This thread has the most legitimate advice of any I've ever seen on WickedFire. Jesus, you guys actually believe he's 14!?! Where's the comments about shoving stuff up certain orifices, requests that the initial poster shoot themselves, . . . ?
