I have never bought .info domains from godaddy before, but just decided to buy a couple dozen. They are still showing up as parked on godaddy after several hours -- and yes, I deleted my browser cache.

A few hours later I got a .com and pointed it at my server, also on godaddy. It has already shown up.

Has anybody noticed that it takes longer for .info to show up?

Ok, Godaddy's help file had the answer....

Allow 4-8 hours for .COM and .NET domains and about 24-48 hours for all other domain extensions for the changes to take effect. It seems like I can usually see .com and .net right away nowadays.

Things have improved immensely since the olden days. I can register a brand new .com domain, redirect the DNS and have my site up and running within minutes now. :)

I agree, and I have only bought .com or .net before, so I that's why I was surprised about the .info thing.
