What's the benefit to starting up a network of 1000 autoblogs that pull content from other sites?

Do sites still rank and get traffic with content pulled from other sites?

the no.1 benefit is getting banned by Google overnight.

that model used to work well in 2004-05... nowadays LOL!

so you can do it and get ranked, but not make money from adsense?

ie you can get ranked and promote your own products or promote affiliate stuff?

Or will autoblogs not get ranked?
 
tried autoblogging with WPTB a few months back. Got a shit ton of traffic but converted like crap. Also got a ton of pissed off bloggers who's content was ripped. IMO get started with product databases with auto drip and try to build some content around it.

If you can get backlinks to them and get ranked. Then yes of course, you can make money from them.

Question is, how are you going to get backlinks to these 1000 blogs? Are they all going to be exact match domains? Do you have a solid plan on how to cover your footprints - multiple affiliate ids, hostings etc?

I'm sure there are a few people here who are still banking hard doing this stuff... can be done but it's definitely not as easy as it used to be.
 
auto blogs are against AdSense TOS.

if you can get away auto blogs using AdSense, good for you.

make sure to spin the content you are stealing/copying to be at least 60% unique, or at least enough to get past something like copyscape filter and you should be good in G's eyes and not get teh b7.

I prefer to keep it to a few quality blogs doing manual articles/posts few times a month vs 1000s of autoblogs.

So you are saying that you can still make money with autoblogs because they still rank high in search engines if you spin the articles enough?

When the big G wipes out your site, does that mean just no more adsense revenue, or no longer showing up in google search results?
 
a ban from adsense does not affect your sites google ranking or mean they will b7 your ranking from 1st or 2nd page (at least in my experience w sites that got b7 from adsense). just means you cant use AdSense on it anymore. thats when you can play w Kontera, Infolinks, Adbrite, etc.

you can still get past G using autoblogs + adsense by spinning the articles and content you are jacking to be unique. It might not make sense once you spin the shit out of it but w/e its autoblogs.

Autoblogs don't work? Are you kidding me? Come to my niche (financial investment) and just wonder at the number of damn "news aggregator" sites that scrape the (original) content of my partner sites.

Forget trying to do a legal takedown, just gotta IP block those bastards whenever you notice them outranking your original content.

Google deindexing, let alone banning, autoblogs? Excuse me while I laugh so hard that I throw up in my mouth a little bit.
 
No, don't do it. Show me one autoblog that make money for more than 6 months.

I'm still waiting for WP-robot to have an API that integrates directly with TheBestSpinner like SEnuke does.
Don't see it happening anytime soon.

If you really have to, make sure you have some sort of unique content every now and then and stick one on the front page.
 
fuck autoblogs. I had one fuckhead guy ripping my posts that i had been working for over 4 months on an up and coming niche. Took care of that pronto - DMCA'd that lame turd.

Don't be lazy - Do good work and Get paid.

You wanna know who makes money in autoblogs - the greaseball who is selling the software and the course on how to do it....

darbsllim, the guy's name is Brian Johnson, seriously, I'm not sure how it happened, he obviously know WTF he was doing because he banked $20K last halloween just from that small costume network sites alone. Perhaps someone outed him to Google or something...
