Recently I've been at war with myself. Then I came across the quote: "No facts exist inside the building, only assumptions" - Steve Blank

And decided to reach out for answers.

Does anyone have any hard data (feelings accepted too) regarding the long-term earnings of Direct Linking vs. Review Lander vs. Auto Responder Lander?

Is attempting to collect opt-ins worth of risk of lower short term conversions?

I would suspect this would depend largely on the offer you are running.

There are going to be some products and offers that do AMAZING via email and others that just work better by direct linking.

I doubt there is any across the board data to support your question.

Any thoughts on specifics re: offers for auto responders vs. direct linking (personal experience?).

I've had success with both direct linking and review pages. Depends on the offer and the competition for keywords (assuming I'm using PPC, which I usually do especially for rebills)
