Hi,

Difference Between .COM, .NET, And .ORG Domain Names.

.COM is used for commercial and personal sites.
.NET is usually recommended for companies involved in Internet infrastructure.
.ORG is recommended for Non Profit organizations.

Importance Of Domain Names.

However, there are some similarities in hosting the three domain names:
One can use only letters, numbers, or hyphen ("-") as characters for the site
The domain name cannot begin or end with a hyphen
Two hyphens cannot be used together
The domain name must have less than 63* characters, not including .COM, .NET and .ORG

I Hope This Information Helpful For You All.

Thanks.

what about the .info domains?? anything about those?

What you get when you either were too cheap for the .com/.net/.org , or when someone beat you to it on the other TLDs. :D

(info is for 'information')

Regardless of what the op said, even though ICANN describes those TLDs as such, people get namely .com as its the most likely to be visited and most popular.

I went out to the gym to work out and I felt like a loser because it's Friday night and I was the only one at the gym.
Everybody else is out partying and having a good time, while I'm lifting weights.
But then I saw this thread. I don't feel like the biggest loser in town anymore.
thank you
