Thinking about installing prosper202 on a SSL server but first, I'd like to know how many people did that. Any downsides?
Does it hurt your conversion rate?
I'm worrying about the warning some browsers give when you leave an htttps site and enter a http site, which means an extra step and might hurt the conversion rate.
 


wtf is "a SSL server"

and you can login and view stats over https and still run your traffic to normal http. I wouldnt run traffic to https landing pages / redirects.
 
i don't like his instructions because I not route all traffic over https, only my admin usage.

And there are servers that have SSL certificates installed. There is no such thing as an SSL server, or if there is it means something way differently than how the term is being used here.
