Google banned me because my account was related to another account. How many other Luke Klings are there in the U.S.?

is there anyway to avoid "competition" clicks?

Not that I know of. It is very easy to get someones pub id and put their ads somewhere not good, or just constantly click their ads.

There is the click tracking programs, but I have never used them.

Ok, talking about working the system - does anybody know of anyone who actually got banned from google because of ad placement (pictures near ads & stuff) without getting a "you can't do that" warning first ?

Every banning I have seen is either invalid clicks or they find that your account is somehow linked to a banned account.

because they actually have content. you noticed that the original poster never responded to me saying he had only ads and no content

Sorry, haven't had time to really reply yet. But, yes there was some content on the site. Just a few paragraphs of text to target the ads, and keep the G off my case.

I got an e-mail from Google tonight, saying that they re-checked the logs, or w/e and there were invalid clicks on my account, so I'm not getting re-instated.

And, no I definately wasn't making Google 5 figures a month. almost 4 figures/month was what I was pulling off them, so however much they were making from that, tough to say.

I dont' think I got banned for really violating the TOS, just for getting some shitty clicks.. argh... friggin' sucks.

Meh, I hope it wasn't Searchfeed. I started using them, but I limited the traffic to US/Canada only, which should up the amount of valid clicks (conversions) for advertisers.

I was using Searchfeed, limited to US/Canada, oddly enough...

I'm rechecking all my robot.txt files. I think that may be the problem, just had some sneaky traffic from a shitty search engine.

Someone else had a problem with searchfeed too. Oh, it was Gooner.

His story is around post #9,840 on the post whore thread.
