SHIT! Take a vacation to the South of France for 5 days, come back to find out Google closed my account! DAMNIT! After I finally got the arbi thing figured out, and was making some decent money at it.. Wouldn't minded having gotten one last cheque out of the deal though. I was super-close to another payout too. FUCK.

Ah well, live and learn.. Let this be a lesson to n00bs thinking about arbitrage. Make sure you get a solid base of real sites before you fuck around with arbitrage.

Now then, until I get another Adsense account,
Hmmmm.. to make solid sites, or learn some affiliate marketing.... I'm torn.

if you got banned by google you had to have done something, or you were getting traffic from the atol of assholea in the south seas!

Hey chris,

Did Google give you any specifics on why your account was banned, or did they just hit you with the rejected stamp? It would be nice to know how to avoid future banning...

Haha, was flipping through the posts to quickly.... so hey Pyrhho, did google give you specifics on your account being banned?

I doubt arbi caused it, like mentioned above you were probably getting some very shit traffic or one of your competitors wanted a little less competition.

Seems to me that its a bad idea to put any money into Adsense arbitrage. Adsense is the only monetization method that will ban you and then not tell you why. Depending on what scale you are on, this could cost you a fortune in losses.

Go with PPC-CPA arbitrage. If you had figured out how to profit with adsense, you should have no problem doing likewise with PPC-CPA methods.

I had one of my accounts banned ages ago without reason and when I emailed google they never replied. Its easy is it for someone who dos not like you to copy your publisher ID then just do some click fraud. has anyone ever got there account back?

Don't be stupid. There are a ton of people on this board that make a lot of money via adsense arbitrage. I have seen a lot of niche sites get banned too, so should we not do those either? Yes we should diversify, but don't tell people not to do arbitrage because one dude gets banned when he wasn't paying attention.

you were prob one of the dumb asses that thought arbitrage meant sending people to pages with no content just ads.

Google only likes to be violated gently so you have be careful.

Ok, I'll make sure to just give them a gentle ass-fucking next time.

And, no, they didn't really specify a reason. Though they said it "might" have been due to illegitimate clicks. I'm thinking it may have been due to some shitty overseas traffic, judging from my analytics data.

Thanks for the reinstatement guide JDog, +rep

I've calmed down about it a bit now, I sent them an e-mail and I'll be trying for re-instatement, or a new account, but in the meantime I'm gonna diversify a bit and try to learn some new skills.

That is a good way to look at it. Time to learn some affiliate stuff!

Banned from Google? Come out of the closet and join a support group!

Maybe banning this much has always been happening and now people aren't as shy to let others know they are banned, since they know they are obviously NOT alone! It does seem like I'm hearing about a lot of Google banning lately.

Is there some new crack down?
Are they just tired of mailing out those checks?

My question is were you making Google five figures with Adsense? Doesn't seem like it because if so, you'd be more upset than you showed. I'm not sure if they would shut down an account that is generating them five figures a month in revenue.

That really sux though that they give no reason for shutting down your account. This can happen even if you're not doing arbitrage.

I just spent quite a while reading over the adsense TOS and Program Policies and, as long as your arbi. sites have real content, aren't "forcing" users to click on the ads, have 3 or less units on a page, don't have fraudulent clicks/impressions an look like a content site instead of an "ad showing" site, it's in compliance with their policies. Were you voilating any of those?
(You've got me kind of woried, let us know what happens!)

is there anyway to avoid "competition" clicks?
