well once again scrubbing and ring tones are messing up my day and months ???

i just talked to my AM i lost about 16% almost $400 from my last months earnings due to scrubbing with one of my offers im running .....

it also has a automatic scrub built in so you get leads generated 3 business days later

heres the messege sent to me
"The main campaign he's running which has a scrub built in. "A qualified lead is deemed as a user that submits a pin that is not associated with a duplicate number and who does not cancel within 24 hours of sign up. The pixel will fire on the pin submit, and leads will be scrubbed within 3 business days." So basically, 16% of his traffic was either duplicate cell numbers, or the user canceled their account right away. "

All big companies from the advertiser are taking a nice chunk of change from us due to this scrubbing and if your doing ring tones i know you feel the same way about this whole scrubbing because i think its a lot with ring tones and phone submit offers other than any other offers???

just figured id share my bad day with you all and i know you can relate to this

Totally sucks man. I'm sure you read my post on scrubbing and scraping... Everyone needs to make a return in the business. I'm not on anyones side but if you were the advertiser would you want to pay for someone that canceled immediately? Honestly the best thing is for all sides to win. I'm hearing more and more Ringtones is becoming a difficult beast although I don't do much myself.

Always put yourself in the advertisers shoes as you may be their one day. Most just want to make a modest return. But then theirs people like bidz that want to make a 1:5 ROI. HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

How are you the ringtoneking if you made $2,500 (now $2,100) in a whole month? Change your name bro.

@ smaxor i guess your right about it with the people signing up than canceling right away
they should at least have some sort of payout with just a cell submit or something so the affiliate gets some sort of money than cuz it can make everyone happy i think

@ engaged thats only 1 affiliate company with 1 offer i have 3 others also and many other offers i was just making a point ???

16% is not allot for 1 offer. if it was for your whole network of offers then you would be pissed. but 16% for 1 offer is nothing..

Only 16% of your leads are dropping in 24 hours? Jeez you need to start sending some traffic to my mobile offers.

I assume this is sendme? If so, it actually says so right there in the offer description. And I second BigWill.

lol @2500 a month

i got scrubbed for 800 leads for the month of july. yummy. a little more than 12k for anyone who is counting

If you're being scrubbed you should run a new offer, i never heard of scrubbing ringtone leads especially since the conversion is on a PIN submit, unless you were misrepresenting the offer.

Mike he's not talking about random percentage-based shaving. With this particular advertiser (SendMe), they only pay for leads that don't cancel within the first 72 hours. They are "Scrubbing" out conversions that don't stick.

From an advertisers perspective, I can understand the need to control quality and remain as profitable as possible.

From an affiliates perspective, I can understand the frustration with not getting compensated for a legit lead that decides to cancel for whatever reason.

The only good thing about SendMe is that they actually take Nextel, Alltel and Boost (albeit extremely low prices) which nobody seems to want to touch right now.

I figured its send me but you still dont have to put up with it, find a different offer or Find a network who absorbs the scrub

send me converts 1 out of every 10 for me its one of the best ring tone (since i found out about the scrubbing) offers ive ran for a wile since glamtones and fly cell lol which convert 1-15 and 1-20 and i think send me converts better because of the nextel alltel and boost mobile ...

king- You need to segment your traffic and send carriers to advertisers that will accept them. Also glamtones recently lost a provider on the back end (ringaza) which helped pick up the slack when no other advertisers were available to buy, which has hurt conversions.

Also Heads up to anyone running FunMobile that effective tomorrow they will no longer be accepting Verizon traffic.

Ringaza is off, but send me is on which puts a total of 7 off deck providers on glamtones.

@mKrongel

so than how many providers for glamtones cuz i was talkin to jeff about bringing my traffic back to you
