Guys, I've been messing around with a new landing page and was interested to hear your thoughts: Forex Trading - This page was made in a follow up to the fully disclosed arbitrage thread, and I was curious how it may function. To me, it looks a little spammy and not really professional but in my experience, that doesn't always matter. Now, this isn't an industry that I'm targeting, but I wanted to get some feedback on how you may think a layout like this may perform?

It's a good start. Just test it out and see what happens. Flip the ads around, or put the ads in your text copy. Either way you'll never know which works best until you test them out. Every site is different

If I were a visitor to that page I would just close my browser straight away. Why? Well all I see is a big block of loads of text and a picture. Thats it. Its a huge turnoff to have to read all that text and I just couldn't be bothered to do it.

Its a fact that when we browse the web we have a short attention span. So therefore we need things to reach out and grab our attention. So try things like creating bullet points and then some calls to action. Give your users some snazzy headlines and give them a reason to click on your affiliate links or your Adsense links. Use logos/arrows/click here type of imagery too and integrate your Adsense ads with a little bit more imagination too. At the moment they are clearly ads in the sidebar and people will just ignore them.

Yeah. Stock images of coins/gold bars are so Alladvantage circa 1999. Get a good network's ad block up there.
