Creating scripts

This is a total newbie question, :anon.sml:, but asking is the way to learn, and I want to learn.

I see people offering databases with accompanying scripts, and I want to learn how to make scripts. I have databases to sell but would like to know how to make scripts for them.

Where do I start, anything to guide me?

You're going to want to learn PHP, and how to interact with MySQL.

You could buy a book or look at tutorials: Photoshop Tutorials, Flash Tutorials and More! P2L Tutorial Search PHP Help: PHP Freaks! Spoono - We Pity Da Fool Who Can't CHMOD PHP Help, PHP Code - Codewalkers.com and of course Google.

And whenever you want a quick reference, go to php.net/function_name.

Definitely learn PHP. Scripts = PHP (more or less for web development)

You might as well learn SQL first as its (fairly) simple. Check out Tizag Tutorials and W3Schools Online Web Tutorials
