I am creating a toolbar for myself - basically I wanted to use the Google search box, but w/ my pub id.

Is this allowed by the terms? Just seeing if I can get a quick answer here before contacting google and waiting for their response...

Thanks!

damn! i was just thinking of an idea where someone creates a toolbar installation that replaces the address bar so any domains typed in actually searches google for them. then, one could bid PPC on obscure domains (like logitech.com or something) which would be really cheap.

Thoughts on this? I see in another thread that Conduit.com uses 'Google Search' in their toolbars - the way I see it is that they have a subdirectory set up with a google search box embedded in it. When someone uses their toolbar to search, they send that query through their searchpage?

Then using the Google API they have a revenue sharing deal set up? Does this sound right?
