I just sold a phone on Craigslist for a good amount of money yesterday. The phone I sold was used for less than a month and had less than minimal wear. Anyway, the guy that bought it talked me down $30 and bought it less than 15 minutes after I put the add up. I previously sold the phone for $130 less but the person who I know personally couldnt come up with the remainder of the money so a week later I took the phone back. When I got the phone back I reset it and found some not so flattering pictures in the phone of his girlfriend lol.
Anyway, back to the present. Well after this new guy bought the phone, he calls me a few hours later and says the camera doesnt work. He tells me there is an error message that pops up and that it cant be fixed according to a tech at the company. The funny thing about it is that I used the camera the day before I sold it to him. He is texting me about a refund and also saying that when he bought it he realized that the error was there 15 minutes later but tried fixing it all day before contacting me. I tell him to give me the IMEI number off the back and to also take a picture of the error on the screen with a digital camera. He tells me that no one he knows has a digital camera and that his camera oh his other phone isnt taking a good picture so he refuses to send me one.
Sounds fishy huh? When I met him to sell the phone there were two problems on my part, the home charger adapter was at my girlfriends house and on of the included accessories were missing. I told him I would get the charger from my girls house before selling it to him and I went to the store and bought a brand new accessory to replace the exact one missing. He told me not to get the home charger because it isnt necessary and that I shouldnt have replaced the other acessory because he wasnt worried about it. Well if I were to spend a bunch of money on something I would make sure what I am getting is as advertised. What do you guys think?
