I was wondering while using Adword Keyword tool and setting it to 'Cost and ad position estimate' how do you tell how much each click will be when the ads shows up on your page?

ex: car insurance quotes $17.51 Average CPC

what % of $17.51 would the click acuatlly be worth if some click on that ad on your page? Any simple rule of thumb to remeber?

Ive heard 40 to 60%, but it varies allot.

I would not even trust that shit for CPC. Im sick of Google, Google Sucks!!!!!!!

You want a rule of thumb! Dont trust Google!

hahahaha...thanks man!

The problem with that tool is that it is showing the cost for the search results. Usually the content network pays a lot less.

Yeah since they split them up it is not a valid indicator at all for content, as a lot of big spenders turn of the content network, and others offer substantially reduced bids for content ads.

Someone may offer $1.00 for a search keyword and $.20 for a content click on the same word.
