I'm creating a sales video right now and would like to include some news footage. However, after searching it looks like you need to pay to use/license this footage and I haven't been able to find what I need anyways. Also, due to the nature of my video they probably would not approve a special written request.
So the next best option is to take pictures of the video being played on youtube, or just finding an article and taking a screenshot of the article and using that.
I have competitors who have shown screenshots of sites in their videos and some even have short disclaimers at the bottom of the page but most of them don't.
Anyone have a poor man's way of doing any of this legally without getting hammered with DMCA's?
