They keep on coming.

One suggestion.. Why not give several of the more active member the Ban Hammer.. Not exactly a Mod status but the ability to Ban, say new members??

Or better yet, why not just enable a VB plugin to autoban them? Or at the very least, flag the acccounts.

We've had this discussion several different ways over the years, but here's how it's going to go:

  1. Problem is stated about bot accounts
  2. People request more banhammering-enabled members
  3. People establish that mods have it hard and need to be gotten off for all the unpaid time they put in.
  4. People volunteer/nominate people and Jon says, "FU ALL BITCHES" or some member takes it to the private forum and they get told that.
  5. We wine about '06/'07/'08/'09 when it was all bettas.
  6. Somewhere along the way we discuss automated scripts and plugins that could solve this issue and make everyone's life easier and are told "FU ALL BITCHES" or some member explains that it'll never happen because Jon and Stanely are lazy cunts that don't care about said programs.
  7. Thread dies after venting and in 2-14 weeks a new thread pops up and we resume because Jon just doesn't care to tap into the amazing coding resources the members of this forum posess for self-maintaining this forum.

how about your first started threads will be reviewed by staff before showing them in the forum?

Or we could all stop worrying about it since it's a free forum and actually go do some work.
