Hey I read a thread on the amount of money you can make from online marketing,

i realise there are different types some more spammy and less value giving than others.

once your online marketing is setup whether its organic or ppc how much continual effort does it take to maintain your sale levels. are you working full days or just a couple hours if needed.

just intelligent responses please

This is one of the most dynamic industries, man!!! You can safely bet on "continuous maintenance". There are a few cases where it all ends up growing by itself, but those are very rare.

You still need to closely monitor how your site is doing - number of visits, conversions, etc. For me, it's a contiuous process.

It really varies depending on exactly what you are doing, but I can say that if you want to maintain/grow your sales then you will certainly need to do daily/weekly maintenance to make sure everything is running smoothly. You will also need to keep coming up with new campaigns and ideas to replace those that die off.

You can never become complacent in this industry as it always keeps you on your toes.

Agree with the others, you constantly need to be optimizing your landing pages, keywords, ad copy.

Hell I'm currently putting in more hours than I do at my day job.

There's some stuff that autopilots fine. I have EPN feed sites I can't remember the name of that generate decent income considering they take no effort, ditto some parked domains. There's something satisfying about zero-effort walkin' money.

What's an EPN feed?
