Clicks but no conversions...

This shit pisses me off. Okay I set up my third PPC affiliate campaign yesterday. I get people to click on my Adwords ads which brings them to a blog. Basically I say "avoid this product, it sucks however take a look at this one". They read threw my sales letter and click the aff link to "learn more". After that I never here from them again. No conversions. So I'm guessing something is wrong with my sales letter. So does anybody have some tips or some links to tips on how to write some good shit? I appreciate it.
 


how about changing your ad copy? try stuff that only entices people who already want that product.

there could be many things wrong with your efforts so you need to dig deeper than just adcopy, sales copy, etc...
 
Hmm, just got a conversion today. Maybe I am doing something right after all? Guess I'm just a bit impatient...
 
Damn, ended up earning $140 and then everything just stopped. What do you do when your campaign was doing good but it just stops converting? What do you analyze and shit like that?
 
James there is just ups and downs. You really can't properly gauge a program until you have at least 60 days plus in it. Yes, you can have an idea of what's going on after days but that's not enough time to know how and why?

It's weird how it works. I have been doing what I do for so long I know the days, weeks, months, holidays and industry news that will affect my biz.

I would look at the search paterns daily and see if it is just lack of traffic and serches.

One more thing, holidays definitely slow everything down in most marketing areas. People are thinking fireworks, beer and BBQ's right now and that's about it.

Monday it will be back to normal as far as searches and buyers bro.
 
Thats true BYA, never thought of that. I paused the campaign for now, and this gives me time to revamp some areas of the site.
 
Well shit BYA, you were right. I started the Adwords campaign back up tonight to see if it would convert by tomorrow, and I already got a conversion. I'm not sure if it was luck, or if it really had to do with the holiday. But you know your shit, so I'll say it was because of the holiday. Thanks bud
