I wanted to know if anyone had some good resources for finding some JV Partners for a ClickBank launch. I have a great product and a converting page - just want some people who would like to learn how to market it.

Anyone know some good resources or CB specific forums for finding JV Partners?

how well is the product converting? Im in the process of building one myself and would be interested in the same type of thing actually, let me know if you find anything

Right now the product is converting really high. For our affiliates we are seeing between 12-16% conversion rates and the payout is around $36.

The product is in the diet niche so it is really easy to market right now.

wow, those are some VERY impressive numbers for something that has such a high cost to the user. If when my product is done, it converts at 5%+ I will be blown away. Its in the health niche.

WTF is this product that convert on 12-16% on a sale??

Best way is probably just to contact people privately, build relationships, offer reciprocal promotions where appropriate...etc. Maybe send them an invitation/product through the post or even by fedex to get their attention.

Affiliates with traffic are obviously in demand so it can be difficult to get their attention. Competition prizes help...etc. Or you could try outsourcing to an affiliate manager/recruiter, but that can be expensive.

Perhaps advertise your launch/contest at affiliate and webmaster forums, blogs...

*Cheers.

Got your PM, will respond here so others can benefit if at all. Not going into intense details but:

1. Sorry I call bullshit on the 12-16% yet having a hard time finding aff's - they would have found you by now. I run 30 offers, have had chart toppers, have one now, have filtered forex buyer lists down through 6 product levels (that's repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat, repeat buyers) and have only seen 1:5 - 1:10 on absolute targeted virgin lists or trusted repeat buyers on low ticket items.

Even though it's an expensive niche re keys if I threw 100 perfect key'd uniques at you your'e saying I'd bank 12-16 sales on average x $36? Dude you'd make me a millionare :) if that were true. The niche is an absolute BITCH and I'm sorry to be rude or not believe but it's extremely hard to do a CPS in weight loss (I have two actually check here and here < both died a horrible clickbank death even with splits and highend branding on one). Not saying because it didn't work for me it can't for you, I just know at this level anything converting at xx% on overall small volume aff traffic in the diet niche is not going to be looking to recruit (especially at ClickBank, aff's are VULTURES). You would have been found easily by now or you are about to be, and explode. ANYTHING over 2% is considered amazing especially at CB - 12% is ridonculously unbelievable or you're doing your math wrong somewhere. Maybe 1:12-1:16? < Even that is oddly high.

2. Recruiting is an artform, check this thread the info there might help you.

3. I have a forum that has a launches/offers section for CB shit once it is tested and proven - you must prove it re posting screenshots of your conversions, EPC, any backend upsells you do, typical CB screenies etc... If you're really at 1:5-1:9'ish I'd be happy to approve it.

Best.

If you start the tracking from when you enter onto the page, EVERYONE converts at 1.2-1.6% If you start the funnel at those who click the order form, they convert at about 12-16%.

Does that make more sense?

Are you serious?!!! Should we not count all the people that land on your site and don't click on the order link?

Hell, while you're at it, don't even count the people who click through to the order form and don't buy. Just count the ones that converted... then you have 100% conversion. KICK ASS!

And this would make perfect sense if PPC networks only billed for the visitors that clicked through to your order form (or better yet, only the ones that bought). But since they bill for each and every visitor that lands on your page, your conversion rate is 1.2%.

I have a 200% conversion rate on people who buy my upsells, do you think I'll get gravity on CB?

Okay, but the bottom line is that it is still a profitable product.

Scenario:
Payout = $36

$.30 cent clicks

400 clicks = $120

Conversion (lowest) 1.2% = 4.8 conversions.

4.8 x $36 = $172.80

$172.80 gross - $120 spend = $52.80 net.

That's profitable at my lowest conversion rate in testing, and I'm still tweaking the pages.

That's good. Just don't make it to be like it's converting at double digits (because some dumbshit newb will actually believe you and expect those conversion rates).

In any case, good luck with the testing. One thing I'd definitely try (if feasible) is adopt the color scheme of their order page for your landing page. This way people will feel like they're still on the same site when they click to order. CB vendors lose a lot of sales this way.

If you can't do that because you have a certain layout/theme, then show them a video (or a screenshot at the very least) of what the order form will look like so the visitor knows what to expect.

I have seen that CB is allowing some of their TOP vendors to use custom checkout pages.

The best thing I can do for now is to use a screenshot like you said. It's the only thing I think you can do to minimize on missed sales.

Well you can promote in clickbank featured products and many affiliate forums
