Click Ciscrepancy Problem - Need Help

Facebook shows me 2,000 clicks, Prosper shows 2,000 clicks, affiliate network shows 1,500. I tried various affiliate networks and the result is the same.

My prosper202 is on a dedicated VPS.

What could the problem be, where do 30% of the clicks get lost?

Help appreciated

check the country of the offer and the clicks. facebook will often sell u clicks from countries u didnt target and they will sometimes not show up on ur aff network

thanks, I already checked that before posting the thread. The traffic from different countries was redirected so that's not the problem.

There must be something else :mad:
 
Does your network count duplicate clicks to the same offer? But I doubt you'd be getting many duplicate clicks on a campaign with only 2000 clicks.

Network could be shaving clicks for whatever reason?
 
If you are seeing the same amount of clicks from FB to 202 then you most probably have your 202 set to show you "all clicks" instead of "real clicks", so it is not discounting multiple clicks from the same visitor. The network is probably only counting uniques. But the discrepancy is still rather high.

Try switching your 202 to show "real clicks" and see if the numbers then concur.

You will also lose visitors between your 202 and the landing page, especially if you have cloaking on.
 
what is the tracking system the network is using? Most systems remove dupe clicks, clicks from outside the campaign territory (geo) or from blacklisted IPs. But still 30% is a lot.
