On the firing line
Okay, I understand that EPC stands for Earnings Per (hundred) Clicks. So, would it be safe to assume that something with a 3 month EPC of $100 and a single sale is worth $25 (so 4 sales per 100 clicks) would equate to 1 out of every 25 clicks resulting in a sale?

Yeah, I know that's what the math equals, but a better question would be:

How accurate have you found CJ's figures to be for you campaigns? Are they pretty close to the advertised EPC? Or are they way off?

In my experience, I don't usually concentrate on EPC. 2 of my campaigns that have been working well for me every week have advertisers whose EPC is down to $3.

But this is because the advertiser's site is big and it receives a lot of clicks (clicks coming from other products that I am not promoting but are owned by the same advertiser).

There is a relationship between the source of your traffic [search engine, link referals, email & PPC], its relevance to the offer you are promoting & your EPC.

For example, if your traffic comes from your SERPs for the keyword "makeup", your EPC for your "viagra" campaign would be $00.00.

Your EPC is only as good as the relevance of your trafffic to the offer...
