Anyone Know a Cheap domain Registering Site were I can Register a .com domain for $5.00 or less?

It costs the registrar more than $5 to get a name with the registry+icann charges.

Any real registrar who gives you 12 months for less than $5 is
a) laundering money
b) implementing a loss leader strategy to gain market share or going to hook you for something else (hosting, renewal fee, domain lock etc)
d) going to take your money and run
e) going to be out of business fairly soon

If you go with any of the above then don't be surprised if something happens that will end up costing you more than $5 in the future. You coudl also try signing up for a reseller/affiliate account with some registrars and if you're good at pushing sales you effectively get your names free.

You can try to find at namecheap.com but i think it's very hard to get that price.
Maybe you can buy some old domain for that price.
Try google it.

use Google to find which promo code is most useful to you and use namecheap.com. 1 year of WhoIs and the domain for something like $9. That's what I use anyway.....

as much as i hate to say it, godaddy is still the cheapest. i hate them with a passion cuz their service sucks and they always mess something up.

Anyone know any places that offer the privacy option for free depending on how many domains you order?

.

Simply not true. All registrars pay ICANN the same amount. Higher volumne = cheaper and depends on their strategy. Technically they could charge anything.

I have been using name dot com this year and feel confident with there service and great deals on friday btw....

as someone else said better to pay a little more for peace of mind.

name.com used to offer $5.00 .com domains....
godaddy seems to be the cheapest for now,
but i really don't like them

Beware if you give godaddy your real number they will call you and try to upsell the same shit that you clicked 'no thanks' to when you registered the domain.

I've registered my last 20+ domains with name.com, $8.99 with privacy included but you can easily find coupons to get names for about 8.00 - 8.20

DIPTERA was the last coupon code I used, I don't know if it's working at the moment but it was a couple days ago

I like name.com because their interface is quick and no frills

If you are looking to buy domain in bulk, mydomain.com could be your choice as they offer bulk pricing. Remember to use coupon code " htmli.info " to get 15% extra discount.
