You have site1.com. It has a lot of pages and sub-directories. You just bought a new domain site2.com. You want all the content of site1.com to be on site2.com.

But the html pages of site1.com all say the site name in the links, headers, title tags etc.

How do you change all references to site1.com to site2.com in each of the html pages you want to upload to site2.com (without manually doing each one individually of course)?

I need a smart 'find and replace' type program I'm assuming?

Metoo,

Go get Dreamweaver, download 'site1.com' and do global replace. However, you'll have to ask yourself if 'site1.com' has any value keeping it as it is. If you have an established domain, certain keyword ranking, and such, you can use what you've learned by knocking it off with 'site2.com' -- since you own both sites you'll benefit.

Best,

Justin
