I'm running a site based on music promotion which features a number of different genres. Am I better off throwing links at (and trying to rank/get people to go to) the category index pages of each genres names, or am I better off making pages which simply display each category indexes respective posts? These pages will at times overlap (as in display the same post filed under 2+ different categories) and I'm not sure if this will have any negative, if at all any, effects in terms of SEO due to duplicate content..
