Anyone having any luck promoting the cash 4 gold offers?

I have such mixed results, one day tons of leads the next day none and keep breaking out at even.

Just wondering if anyone is doing well with it?

I am doing PPC on yahoo.

I'd split test against a competitive offer to see if it's the advertiser or your traffic.

We have an exclusive gold offer I'm designing the lander on and goldpaq.com going live this week.

I tried it and failed. Goldpaq is good stuff though, know the owner and he's top notch so the offer HAS to be good.

The niche is a tough one to target though. Its hit or miss tbh.

I tried cash 4 gold via yahoo and banners on myspace, and did no better than break even on either. The only profit I found with it was via 7search, but the volume was pretty low so I lost interest and moved on. Maybe it'll improve as the US economy gets worse...

"I sent in the wedding ring fram mai first mawage and got cash the vawy next day!"

I tried it a bit on facebook with no luck... Maybe I need to target divorced Jersey chicks.

we had some issues with this advertiser.. they can be total assholes bout leads so its quote probably they are scrubbing.. They wanted a refund on a huge batch of leads we sent, so we went through the leads by hand scrubbing them. Tons of valid addresses names and everything and they still wouldnt pay even for them.

Try Radio Advertising for some of your campaigns offline works good too. Gotta think out side the box

Based on what we know:
1. It really appeals to a mid-life female demographic trying to feed her hungry children.
2. Possibly an older female demographic as well that's having a hard time scraping together some money to pay the bills and want to sell some family jewelery without the embarrassment.
3. Junkies and jewel thieves that don't want to turn in their jewelery at the local pawn shop as someone might be looking for it.

A couple of ideas for targeting.
number 3 I think you could pickup by targeting sites about drugs and revolve around unscrupulous things. ( by the way not saying this is right, just it is what it is )
number 2 is probably going to be reached via offline targetting the best or possibly mutual fund sites, or things that they'd be looking at where they're concerned about money. Number 1 is probably going to be the easiest to reach with the broadest audience.

I was thinking this couple possibly be combo'd on a blog with another offer like the diet stuff has been doing. But was trying to come up with what the complementary offer would be for it.

This is some of the thought processes I go through when i look at an offer not sure if it helps you guys but I thought I would share.

Oh man, I am about to run some shit on myspace for the 18-25 crowd with the ad saying "we don't ask questions, we accept all jewelry"

I know there are some criminals on there.

I was thinking of running a campaign for c4g, but have concerns about the veracity of the company. This interesting website has an expose on the company, supposedly written by an insider that isn't flattering.

One thing that tipped me off that this person is not totally honest is the statement: "a small weight pad, and a bottle of mystery fluid, which your items are then give a value for. Not million dollar equipment or specially trained jewelry experts."

Anybody who works with jewelery knows he's referring to a touchstone and a bottle of gold testing acid, which is used at all refiners to test the karat weight of gold.

I know there's a Dollars 4 Gold affiliate, but it seems to be the same one. Anybody know of a gold buying offer from a different company?

Each day I get a list of top performing offers from my Hydra AM, and consistently for about 3 months, Cash4Gold has been #1 - #2 top earning offer.

One of you fuckers is banking hardcore on this offer. The search volume is clearly not there to make this a high performing offer, so this one is a big earner either through web traffic (banners) or bulk email (HIGHLY likely).

I'm assuming they are buying generic lists and just mailbombing them. My GF has a spam hotmail account and she gets the C4G offer daily, prob 3 - 5 times a day.

Yeah I think I mentioned about we have GoldPaq.com I think it's paying 15$ a lead.
Excellent, thanks. I was having a lot of remorse about this c4g outfit because I really want to run gold selling and have an excellent domain for it: money4metals.com (just a parked page as yet).

It's almost all mail and money 4 gold offers usually converts well to a sub-prime list.
