Behind a proxy
I am so frustrated. for the past 4 hours i have been unable to load name.com from my main IP. it works fine with a proxy. i dont know why that would happen but its not the first time that i have been unable to load a particular website only. its happened before with another website as well.
I need a solution quickly because all my domains are with name.com
anyone know why this could be happening? i ahvent changed any firewall setting etc, this seems to have happened right out of the woodwork.
 


You can try unplugging your router for 15 minutes and get a new IP?

Clearing cache?

Trying a different browser?
 
i am on a static IP so a new IP is out of question. I have tried with IE and FF both latest versions after clearing everything with CCleaner but still no luck

im stumped :(((
 
This happens to me all the time too on my normal IP, I have to turn my proxy on just to access name.com. Not sure what the problem is maybe they block an ip for a while after too many connections.
 
ohhhh think i have the answer now..bryn..thanks a lot..I have been doing a ton of bulk domain checks over the past few days..any idea how long the "ban" lasts? my last domain checks were about 24 hours ago
