I am new and struggling with this affiliate marketing stint, and $90 e-books from clickbank don't help me much. Finally I decided I need somebody to guide me through it because questions are not thoroughly answered in e-books and for some reason although I'm very anxious to make money on the internet, I find it very hard to stay focused on this stuff (probably because I'm in high school) , but I'm gonna take another swing at it. So if anybody can help me get off the ground in this field and start making some damned money already, I'll sign under all your affiliate links and help you out any way I can. All I really have is a clickbank and adwords account, anything else I'll be happy to sign under.

...questions are not thoroughly answered in e-books...

What does that tell you?

If you already know that it's tough for you to stay focused then SOLVE THIS PROBLEM FIRST before you start throwing money away. Pick one thing and do it, rather than reading hundreds of blogs/ebooks, trying millions of projects all at once and wasting time.

If you're at school then there must be something that everyone is interested in, and you know a lot about, so make a site, sign up to an affiliate and start learning on the job. Too much choice makes you dither.

As far as staying focused, try to find a niche that you're generally interested in. It will help you stay motivated and creative. That is, until the money comes in...then you'll be all about your hair plug blog.

Learn to Learn

I am new and struggling with this affiliate marketing stint, and $90 e-books from clickbank don't help me much...

Everything in life is learned in one of three ways:

1) Patience (learn slowly and you'll get far.)
2) Paying for it (university, a consultant, blowing one of the experts here)
3) Blind luck (Your uncle is the guy that invented Adwords, or someone takes pity on you and explains it all, without the blowjob part.)

Choose one.

P.S. You can look at the "free Ebook section" on this forum for VIDEOS on how to do this. They're kind of like books for the xbox generation. and Normally you'd pay for these, but there they're free.

I'd say your first problem is that you're going for the $90 eBooks...
Go for sell-rate over margin every time...

Fuck, I wouldn't pay $90 for a REAL book unless it was part of my uni course, or an art book by an artist I REALLY liked (Barr & Ryden... awesome...)
Any important information in life can be found for $25 or less, because the cheap books are the exact same shit as the expensive books, they just don't spend shitloads of money on marketing it.

Anyway, you're in highschool, right?
Word of mouth networks are GREAT for the sort of shit that appeals to teenagers.
How many of your friends at school are incompetent fools that suck at using a computer any further than booting up Word or WoW? Be honest here...
There are affiliate programs for selling help-desk services for P2P use... Hell, I can hook you up with one...
Anyway, you tell your friends about the site you're running with something like that... The ones that aren't tech savvy buy in, love the service, tell their friends on MySpace and give it a personal recommendation because they know the guy that runs it (you). Bam! Suddenly, all of their friends that suck buy in too, and so on...
Yeah, it's got finite growth, but if you make 100 sales out of it through your school and the other locals, that's still better than the pocket money you get from your folks, right?

And the thing is, if the video game thing works out, you can do it with others...
Buy another domain, and set up one for music, one for mobile phone content, one for movie downloads, etc...
